Flower Antlers

il_fullxfull.220364924il_fullxfull.252820934il_fullxfull.252859125il_fullxfull.210231823

These antlers with flowers are all photographed by Kari Herer. Funny thing is, despite being a strict pescetarian, I've been long collecting antlers and skulls ever since I was little (you can see a tiny glimpse of it in my SF apt) and I even have a huge love for taxidermy (those in SF, you must visit Paxton Gate!)
I'm happy I found these beautiful photographs as I can try something like this on some of my antlers (I already tried it on my steer head.)

Btw, did you know while horns are kept for life, antlers fall off each year and regrow bigger? So don't fret when you see a pair of antlers! ;)

Photographer & Stylist: Aimee
Assistant Stylist: Mira
Model: Chloe
Hair & Make Up: Dani & Carol

I've been working with a few different companies/brands and photographers styling shoots for the past couple of months and this is one of them except, I didn't just style them but I shot them!
A while back, Anarchy Street asked me to style their jewelry collection and after going back and forth different between photographers they suggested that I shoot the collection.
I've test shot models before when doing castings, but never done anything professional and this was such an amazing experience and I learned so much preparing the shoot and during the shoot.
The jewelry collection is a modern interpretation of tribalism and is very ethnic and bohemian.
I fell in love with all of them and you guys have already seen me wearing them in my previous post.

I hope you guys enjoyed these pictures and the styling and if you have any good constructive criticism on what I can improve on please do share!
Also, you should definitely head over to Anarchy Street's website to view their jewelry collection.

*Update*
Thank you for the sweet comments guys! For those who asked about the clothes in this shoot, except for the last two outfits, they are all from Anarchy Street!

I have devoured almost every image that swedish photographer, Carl Kleiner took.
From interiors to portraits, and of everyday life, his images are so beautiful and scrolling through his photo diary just left me wanting more and more.. hopefully he updates often because I'll be checking back soon!

Couscous and Baked Pasta

I'm always so eager to eat I tend to forget to take pictures of all the pretty food. Since I'm a tourist here in New York, I took pictures of most of my dishes and thought I'd share with you guys.
At Cafe Gitane in Nolita, my friend Tanya from Botkier had a Moroccan Couscous stuffed with red peppers, raisins, toasted pine nuts with hummus on top and I had a beautifully baked pasta with roasted tomatoes and breadcrumbs.
