Holiday Decor Guide, Part Two: Tabletop

13.523

This is my first official holiday dinner table set up and although I'm not really the hosting dinner parties type (I'm more of the eating type) this was fun to do. Like my first Holiday Decor Guide (seen here) I found most of my tabletop items at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. My favorite finds were definitely the blue ikat inspired plates and the candles that aren't just pretty to look at but also smell so good.

Holiday Decor Guide, Part One: My Room

1234.5Ok, I admit I'm a bit late on decorating for the holidays. Traveling and working 12 hours a day has left me too exhausted and overwhelmed to decorate my own home. Thankfully to my rescue, T.J. Maxx/Marshalls had everything I needed to put me in the Holiday spirit. On one trip, I filled up my entire cart and was pleasantly shocked to hear my total was less than half of what I was expecting to pay.

Here pictured are just a portion of what I walked out from T.J. Maxx/Marshalls. For those who haven't decorated for the holidays and are in need of an inspiration, hope this post helped you and let me know what holiday objects you've scored from T.J. Maxx/Marshalls!

My San Francisco Apartment

While I try to decide how I want to decorate my new apartment in Los Angeles, I thought I'd share a few pictures of my old San Francisco apartment. Unfortunately, I didn't decorate much as I was always busy with work and school and hardly spent any time at my little tiny studio apartment but my favorite area was this one wall where I displayed my favorite shoes and a bench I had designed and built. It also happens to be Charcoal's favorite spot.

Sheer top from Anarchy Street, the view from my apartment, favorite shoes displayed on my shelves, horns, giant shell that Wesley Mason got me from Florida, Chanel products from my best friend Ira, and my very first Prada wallet that Wesley Mason bought me for Christmas after my Ray Ban sunglass case/wallet ripped.

(Forever 21 Parka, H&M Faux Fur Collar, Anarchy Street Orange Scarf, Dad's Versace Belt that he left at our old place which I quickly stole, Mom's Vintage Pleated Skirt, Steve Madden Lace Up Ankle Boots, Su-shi Bag)

oh, how long have I waited to take an outfit picture!
Since Wes has left us to spend time with his family for Christmas, Charcoal and I were left alone in this gloomy rainy weather. Today was a little better than the other days as it rained on and off and I finally had some free time so Charcoal and I met up with a friend of mine from school for an early dinner and before we were done with our dinner it started pouring again.
I heard it's raining like this in the entire state of California. Hopefully by tomorrow the rain will stop since Charcoal and I will be flying back home to LA.
Anybody doing anything fun for Christmas?
